PowerPool™ vessels are constructed of high-impact acrylic thermoplastics. With its ability to handle the depth required in the PowerPool™ and withstand the extreme conditions to which it will be subjected, the elegant, slightly textured surface of the PowerPool™ vessel is a natural choice. Designed to stand up to the glaring effects of the sun, continuous pounding of aqua-joggers and family play time, and everyday use, each vessel is reinforced with 8 layers of composite to provide added strength.

Technically Superior Frame

The frame of the PowerPool™ is built to stand the test of time. Fabricated from industrial grade galvanized steel, the finished frame is then dip-coated and painted to withstand the harshest environments.

Unique to PowerPool™, the top rail of the frame is laminated into the shell structure to form a direct connection to the vessel. This provides the structural strength to engineer the depth of the PowerPool™.

Another exclusive feature to PowerPool™ is the vessel rib system. All PowerPool™ vessels are equipped with galvanized steel ribs. During the reinforcing process these ribs form a continuous loop around the vessel. Once welded to the top rail of the frame and laminated with composite fiberglass, the frame and vessel combine to make it the strongest design.

Thermo-lockIV™ Insulation System

Thermo-lock IV™ is the ultimate in sound and heat energy
management. The unique thermal barrier technology recycles radiant heat energy for faster, more efficient heating and reduced energy costs. We line all four sides, plus the floor, with patented Reflectix® insulation and high density foam to create an infrared thermal barrier within the interior air space. Radiant heat energy from the pumps and equipment reflects back to the PowerPool™ and is absorbed into the plumbing. This helps raise and maintain water temperature, improving heat efficiency. Energy created by the PowerPool™ stays in the PowerPool™, and worry-free enjoyment is all that remains.

Clean Water

The Clean Zone II™ system combines the power of UVC light and Ozone, the same technology utilized in many communities around the world to purify drinking water. Clean Zone II™ kills 99%* of micro-organisms, bacteria, viruses and parasites while oxidizing debris left behind. This system is an integral part of every PowerPool™.

M7 Technology

The Powerworks™ M7 technology is a revolutionary new hardware/software platform that completely eliminates mechanical sensor switches and remote through-wall temperature sensors. The M7 platform features two identical solid state sensors that mount inside the heater manifold. These "Smart Sensors" accurately and reliably measure water temperature while monitoring critical water conditions without the possibility of failure due to mechanical switch malfunction.

Power & Equipment

PowerPools™ by American Whirlpool utilize industrial duty dual speed 56 frame pumps in all of their 240 volt models. The 56 frame motor is larger, more powerful and delivers higher water flow for better jet performance than the 48 frame motors found in most applications. They also run cooler for longer life and have lower amp draw for lower operating costs.
